Located in Covington, Kentucky, this project combines an 1890 bank and a 1912 YMCA complex into a single 84,700-square-foot hospitality destination. The renovation adapts these historic structures into a new 53-key hotel with a 500-person ballroom situated in the basement. To ensure seamless guest movement, we connected the project to the existing adjacent hotel using a new basement tunnel and a second-floor pedestrian bridge. The design also repurposes a single-story addition to house laundry and receiving services while establishing a dedicated ballroom entrance along Pike Street. This transformation revitalizes the historic corner by integrating modern commercial spaces with essential hospitality functions.
