WorK Architecture + Design Former Headquarters

For their first office, Work A+D renovated a historic three-story mixed use building in the Portland neighborhood of Louisville. While the building is not currently a Registered Historic Property, no elements of the existing primary structural system were modified and all existing brick and cornice work were restored back to their original state. The inherited warren of rooms and infill was reduced to the office, two one bedroom upstairs units, a garage with storage above, and a private courtyard at the rear.
