WorK Architecture + Design Covington Office
For their Northern Kentucky office, Work Architecture + Design landed at 5th Street and Electric Alley in Downtown Covington. A former laundromat was transformed into a sharp work space using a white oak floors, a black and white palette with on-brand orange accents, and a planted wall. A black kitchen and bathroom break the norm and use integrated led lighting to a modern effect. Central to the space is a conference room defined by two pairs of oversize barn doors which close for privacy or open to allow for uninterrupted flow and light. The walls defining the conference room are clad in carpet underlayment as a solution to providing affordable sound absorption.
