Martin on Main

Through the vision of a local developer, this 197,000 square foot project encompasses the demolition of an existing building and redevelopment of the site for a new six-story, 137-unit, mixed-use multi-family building at 835 East Main Street in Louisville, KY. The building also houses the award-winning Nami Korean Steakhouse by Chef Edward Lee, a space also designed by WorK.

The podium construction consists of four stories of apartments above 2 stories of parking garage and commercial space.

Building amenities include a swimming pool and pool deck, clubhouse, office break-out spaces, leasing office, fitness center, pocket garden, and on-site cycling hub.

Being located on a commercial corridor and immediately adjacent to a historic single-family residential neighborhood created design and zoning challenges that WorK A+D used to inspire the design.
